Random Tag

List *5* random things about yourself and then tag some peeps. From: Karin

1. I enjoy popping zits

2. I would love some watermelon Bubble Yum RIGHT NOW so I can blow some huge bubbles

3. I really despise misspelled words even though I bet I misspell plenty of words and that is an annoying thought

4. Contrary to the way a lot of people feel nowadays, I think Valentine's Day is awesome and you don't have to participate in commercialism in order to celebrate it, am I right? (; It just bugs me how people scrutinize it now; have a little fun! One time in college my galfriend and I had no plans (or I guess you could say dates) for V-day and so we drove through Taco Bell and got a bunch of free hot sauce packets. We got a table at Guru's and sat there forever writing out sayings like, "Hot to trot" and "You rock my world, hottie" to go along with the hot sauce. Then we made deliveries to a bunch of random porches, laughing all the way.

5. I love the musty dusty smell of heaters being turned on for the first time in Fall

I tag: Caitlin, Jodi, Lacie, and Yolanda

I think Crosby was 1 1/2 - ish months here. We ** LOVED ** to put him in a swaddle and snuggle him in. It didn't last long though before he wanted to break away from those tight quarters. We called him our little burrito. Aw, it's making me miss those days when he was so tiny!

I tag Audrey, Catherine, Codi, and Jackie

Farewell to Granny B

Crosby's mood on Saturday was a bit somber since he had to see one of his grandmas off.

D's mom Sabita left for Bangladesh to visit her family and won't be back for about 6 months. Uh-oh, that means no more E.T. noises with Granny B (she taught him that), no more being force-fed rice and formula, and no more dancing to Michael Jackson.

I know Croz will miss Granny B for the next half-year, but this does mean lots (and I mean LOTS) more snuggling with Nan and Grandpa in the months to come! Are you guys ready?

When we dropped Sabita off on Saturday, everything seemed like a whirlwind. We got her all checked in. I think she did all right to have her life packed in TWO checked bags and two carry-ons for half a year's worth of time! She had requested a wheelchair because her feet have been giving her a hard time and the wheelchair engineer lady was awesome. She got one of Sabita's carry-ons checked as a third bag for free and was able to sail her right through security, right to the gate. She even took a picture of us all:

No worries, she was tipped generously.

Croz and I hung out in the afternoon and read one of his latest favorites. This book is awesome because you press a button and the star in the corner sparkles with lights. He loves it! It was sparkling but obviously there's a bit of an obstruction (;

Our Bunga man was in a much better mood by the end of the day knowing he'll see Granny B again someday soon.

FYI

So I shouldn't assume that anyone out there is as oblivious to the goings-on as I am but just FYI... this movie:

Is not a romance.

When D and I were deciding what movie to see the other night Lakeview Terrace was the one we were on time for and we totally thought it was the one with Richard Gere and Diane Lane. He he!

More often than not if I have a dark room, a full stomach, and a cozy seat... turn on a movie and I'm out cold in around 15 minutes. However, this movie kept me awake and it was all right.

Jabba the Hut, Two Front Teeth, and Twirling Feet

A little while back D fed Crosby some corn while I was gone and he said that Croz couldn't get enough of it. I had to see it to believe it so I bought him some more of this Sweet Corn Casserole and... I guess we have our own baby Jabba.

You have to believe me when I say I did NOT make this go in fast motion. This was real time, no joke!
Crosby's been working on his two top front teeth for a while but they're like 1/4 of the way pushed out. You can barely see them in this. I can't imagine what he will look like when they are all grown out; it'll be weird! He already looks cute with the stumps even.

When C's excited or interested or wants something he twirls his wrists and ankles and I will have withdrawals when he doesn't do that anymore because I love it.

Apparently he is learning to talk as well. At the very end of this video D says, "You need a nap?" and Crosby says no (;

What would we do without this baby guy?
