Spring Sales

Friday night driving around I spotted it... the first yard sale sign of the season. The lure has begun! I dragged my mom around with me to three of them on Saturday to sit with the boys so I could search out some treasures. We were happy as clams after the rounds were made... here is my main find that I love:

We'll find the perfect spot for it someday. The big bonus is the storage within the bench!

Now for the next sale... BAKE SALE! For March of Dimes Team LucyBug! Anyone who reads this blog will remember last year's sale. My mom and I and many others had the first annual last year to raise money for March of Dimes. It was an awesome success, so we have big plans for this year. A bake sale of epic proportions. If you come you will not be let down! Lucy herself will be there with a one-of-a-kind lemonade stand, not to mention any sweet under the moon at our sale!

The sale is all for Lucy (my cousin Codi's daughter)... we adore her. Please go to Codi's March of Dimes page at http://www.marchforbabies.org/personal_page.asp?pp=2534692&ct=4&w=4508519&u=codi21 so you can read her daughter Lucy's story and get all of the details about the actual March of Dimes March for Babies walk taking place May 14th. Codi, her husband Blake, and Lucy are Utah's ambassador family this year for March for Babies!

As the flyer states, the bake sale is happening on May 7th at 1840 East 1300 South in Salt Lake... can't miss us! A sneak preview: My mom's thick frosted sugar cookies, Caitlin's delectable pumpkin bread, Wendie's delish chocolate chip cookies, my gooey cinnamon rolls baked fresh that morning, my friend Steph's incredible peanut butter bars. My mom and I have a baking schedule already mapped out and it involves an outrageous amount of treats; it is going to be the hottest thing in town that day so y'all better be there! All proceeds to March of Dimes. If you can't make it to the sale, please come to the walk because it is very fun and also a great family activity with music, free food, free train rides for the kids.

LOVE the bench Alisa, great find indeed! And your blog looks way cute how you've re-done it. xo
