Playschool

At the end of the summer, one of my mom friends recommended we start a home preschool for our 3 year olds who aren't quite preschool age yet. It has worked out so perfectly! It is one day a week for two hours and the four of us trade off weeks, taking a new letter of the alphabet each week and doing whatever we want with it. I had the kids a couple of weeks back for the letter "D," imagine that ;)

I told the gals how Crosby started calling it "playschool" and it stuck... so it's not preschool, it's PLAYschool. And he does correct me if I slip and call it preschool.

I had it all planned out to have them meet at Red Butte Garden, but of course it was during our rainy day streak so last minute that morning I threw together stuff to do around the house... Dress-ups, make snicker Doodles, Dog paintings... reading 101 Dalmatians... amazing what's at your reach when you're desperate. Each child's personality is very different and they are all SO cute! Stella has a crush on Crosby apparently (says her mom)... but 3 year old crushes are the best kind. No drama.

Digging in the Dirt (for worms) - we only found one :(

Stella, Isaac, Crosby, and Ava

Croz is the most fun. He actually enjoys wearing slippers. I love that. The other night driving past Wendy's he saw them working in the window and said, "Whoa Mommy... why are those chicken nugget guys still awake?"

He loves to use this tube at my parents' to... um let's see if I can remember the terminology he uses... transfer air to the conveyor belt so that it can fill the platform to get energy to the pistons??? Or something like that! All of those real-life construction shows and real-life big boy construction books we've been reading have his brain wheels speeding. His vocabulary can intimidate me at times! I can't wait to see what he's going to be.
