D's mom Sabita left for Bangladesh to visit her family and won't be back for about 6 months. Uh-oh, that means no more E.T. noises with Granny B (she taught him that), no more being force-fed rice and formula, and no more dancing to Michael Jackson.
I know Croz will miss Granny B for the next half-year, but this does mean lots (and I mean LOTS) more snuggling with Nan and Grandpa in the months to come! Are you guys ready?
When we dropped Sabita off on Saturday, everything seemed like a whirlwind. We got her all checked in. I think she did all right to have her life packed in TWO checked bags and two carry-ons for half a year's worth of time! She had requested a wheelchair because her feet have been giving her a hard time and the wheelchair engineer lady was awesome. She got one of Sabita's carry-ons checked as a third bag for free and was able to sail her right through security, right to the gate. She even took a picture of us all:
No worries, she was tipped generously.
Croz and I hung out in the afternoon and read one of his latest favorites. This book is awesome because you press a button and the star in the corner sparkles with lights. He loves it! It was sparkling but obviously there's a bit of an obstruction (;
Our Bunga man was in a much better mood by the end of the day knowing he'll see Granny B again someday soon.
