With Spring officially arriving today, what better way to celebrate than to take a leisurely walk with a friend in the park? I'm thinking for my friend Christina the walk was VERY leisurely but for me it was the best workout I've had in months... dare I say 7 months or so! C and I have been friends for years now and we usually walk, play tennis, rollerblade, or run at Sugarhouse Park or Highland High. Can't wait 'til I'm in the condition to do more and we can get back in our groove.
Our walk around the park this evening was set to an unexpected soundtrack... bagpipes. Some guy was basically in the trees next to the babbling brook playing some tunes on his bagpipes. It was quite lovely. Then we saw the full moon which I attempted to capture with my phone camera. Consider this a vision test; can you find the little spot of a moon? Hopefully most of you saw the real thing; so gorgeous! Thanks for a nice chat and for being my best galpal, Special C. Love you!
